I'm looking for a 61 key weighted MIDI keyboard. It could be slightly larger than 61 key, but space is an issue, so something like the StudioLogic SL73 for example is a bit too long.
I don't need a bunch of pads/sliders/etc., just something with MIDI and USB out.
If there's nothing available with hammer action/fully weighted keys, I'm curious to hear what the absolute best-feeling semi-weighted keybed is when it comes to a 61 key.
Thanks.
I'm a pianist at heart, so I need the most realistic weighted keys possible. The Studiologic SL49 gives me the authentic feel I crave, even in a smaller footprint. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it.
I recently transitioned to MIDI keyboards and the M-Audio Hammer 88 has been a lifesaver! Its graded hammer action feels incredibly close to my acoustic piano, making it easy to practice and perform my classical pieces. The compact size fits perfectly in my small studio too.
