I'm super excited to start recording my own vocals at home. I've been eyeing the Audio-Technica AT2020 for its warm sound and affordability. Any vocalists out there who can share their experiences with this mic or recommend other great options for recording vocals?

I've used the AT2020 for years and it's a great workhorse for home vocals. It's warm, clear and take EQ well. But for a super smooth sound i like to recommend checking out the Rode NT1-A. It's worth the extra investment if you're serious about vocals

Actually it depends on what kind of a singer or what kind of music you will record. If you are a powerful singer and do any rock kind of thing then a Shure SM57 with a high quality pop filter will probably have you covered.
And If you need the kind of detail that a condenser mic offers then a good stage condenser like the SM86 might be good for you.
