Hey USA band players. I have been playing Bb clarinet for approx. 2 years now and it seems I’ve won an eBay bid for an alto clarinet. Over where I live we don’t have the phenomenon of “concert band music”, but once you start looking for clarinet music you run into it fairly quickly. I am curious to find some good examples of good “band music” for woodwind bands / saxophone ensembles, in typical US fashion.

Some of the coolest wind writing I’ve recently heard is Björk’s 2022 album Fossora.

Sounds to me you're looking for "concert band" type music, right? Or music they would play in the good ole Dutch "harmonie"?
