I am buying some Yamaha DZR12's as tops and need some subs.
Yamaha DXS18XLF's and FBT Subline 118sa's are the 2 I have narrowed it down to.
The reason I am not going for the Yamaha straight away to go with Yamaha tops is size and weight, and I have owned different FBT subs and have been very pleased with them.
I have used the Yamaha DXS18XLF's at festivals and they are very good too, balanced, good headroom and the go deep.
The FBT's are quite a bit smaller, this is a consideration for me as I have a small/medium sized van, and they are 5 kg's lighter.
Max SPL is 1 db difference.
Anyone heard these subs A/B'ed?
I am sure I'd be happy with either.
